Message	all it says on the side of the tire is 'made in japan'. i didn't look for an 'inspected by' sticker. i just looked at the price tag. Ordering through Tire Rack was painless and shipping was exceptionally fast. Whatever you guys do out there, get your tires mounted on your rims using the GSP9700 balancer. ([ www.gsp9700.com ]). NTB told me my rim was bent. GSP9700 told me my rim was fine. 10 minutes later, I had a PERFECT balanced setup that stay balanced past 130mph. Other then paying for two balancings, everything went as expected, or better then expected with this round of tire purchases.
